About Me

I'm a journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting on some of the biggest brands in food, entertainment, and retail. I am currently pursuing my M.B.A at Columbia Business School.
Most recently, I worked as a senior correspondent at Business Insider. I published investigations on topics ranging from a sandwich giant's financial spiral to exploitation at a trendy teen retailer to a fake Birkin socialite scandal. Before joining the features team, I reported on the business of retail and fast food, covering topics such as systemic racism in McDonald's franchise system, turmoil at Subway, and the bizarre saga of MyPillow. (I also participated in Red Lobster's Endless Shrimp promotion three years in a row.)
My exposé on Dan Schneider's empire inspired the 2024 Investigation Discovery docuseries "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." I served as an executive producer for the five-part docuseries, which became Max's most successful title ever and was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Documentary Or Nonfiction Series. I also served as a consultant for and appeared in HBO's "Brandy Hellville & the Cult of Fast Fashion," which heavily featured my investigation into the brand.
My reporting on volatile real estate heir Stefan Solviev won a Silver Medal in NAREE’s 2023 Annual Real Estate Journalism Awards and my investigation on "America's Next Top Model" won second place in Entertainment Industry/Arts Investigative Reporting from the Los Angeles Press Club. I have appeared in multiple seasons of History Channel's "Food That Built America" and "Mega-Brands That Built America," as well as "Good Morning America," "Last Week With John Oliver," and "The Brian Lehrer Show."
